Washington County Teachers Association Scholarship

          The Washington County Teachers Association of USD 108 is offering at least a $200.00 scholarship to a graduate of USD #108, USD # 221, or USD #222 who is actively pursuing a career in the education field.  Any graduate who has been accepted into the College of Education at their university and is doing the student teaching block during this year is eligible.  This most likely would mean your senior year of a four year college.  Applications are due no later than October 20, 2009.

          The recipient will be notified during American Education Week, November 15-21, 2009.  It is our hope that this money will be useful in meeting those “incidental expenses” incurred during the student teaching block.
