USD 108 Washington County Schools had a high school student test positive for COVID today. The contagious period was October 5 to October 15.
Students and staff who have been affected by this possible exposure are being notified by the county health department.
Students are already not in class this Friday or Monday. We will use this time to thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas. Students and staff affected are quarantined through midnight October 26. They can return to school on Tuesday, October 27.
Tomorrow night’s football game and the football game scheduled for October 23 will either be completely cancelled or postponed. Homecoming was to occur next Friday, October 23. Homecoming will take place in some manner, but we do not have definite plans on this yet. We will notify the public when Homecoming plans are set.
