JHHS Counselor

Washington County USD #108 is taking applications for an JHHS COUNSELOR for the 2021-2022 school year.

Applicants must be appropriately endorsed or be eligible to obtain the appropriate endorsement to teach this position. The best candidate will also have the following qualifications:

  • Desire and ability to work with students at the JH/HS level with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability in the areas of social-emotional, academic, and career development.

  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet many and varied deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, school administrators, and other staff, including the ability to discuss topics that may be sensitive.

  • Working familiarity with student assessment tools, especially in evaluating and interpreting standardized test results.

  • Flexible

  • Team oriented

  • Committed to effectively advocate for students and programs to benefit students.

  • Knowledge of educational software.

High School Science Teacher 

Washington County Junior High/High School has a HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER position open for the 2021-2022 school year. Washington County is a progressive school district involved in the state Redesign efforts.  We put our students first in all we do. Applicants must be appropriately endorsed or be eligible to obtain a teaching endorsement in Science. The teaching assignment is for the following classes but is not limited to: Environmental Science, Earth Science, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology.

High School Custodian

Washington County High School has a position for a Full Time Custodian (40 hrs/week). The best applicant will be reliable, able to take instructions and follow them. Quality cleaning skills and attention to detail are required. Some mechanical skills are preferred. Starting wage is $12.85/hour. Health insurance and other benefits are available.
