The Infinity Project Program Director

USD 108 has an exciting part time opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated professional to manage the  7-12 out of school and summer school program, The Infinity Project 21st Century Community Learning Center.

Applicants should enjoy working with teenagers, parents and community members. A bachelor’s degree and knowledge of youth development are required. Administrative management and teaching experience preferred, but not required. The program director will facilitate a team to develop program curriculum, coordinate and supervise activities, train staff, collect and analyze program data and facilitate students. Expense paid attendance at state and national training will be required. Start date is July 1, 2022.

Parents as Teacher Parent Educator

Position Summary:

The Cloud, Republic & Washington Parents As Teachers program is currently looking to hire a Parent Educator for 40 hours per week or 2 part-time Parent Educators. This Parent Educator would provide services to families in Washington, Clifton-Clyde and Republic County school districts in Kansas. Parent Educators provide a comprehensive home visitation program implementing the Parents as Teachers evidence-based model for expecting parents and families with children 0-PreK entry. Essential functions:

  • Serves the number of families determined by program guidelines including successful completion of face-to-face visits and group meetings.

  • Conducts home visits at times that are convenient for the family, which may include evenings or weekends in the Washington, Republic & Cloud county area.

  • Provides parent education through personal visits implementing the Parents As Teachers Foundational Curriculum demonstrating fidelity to the model.

  • Provides case management at a level of intensity that meets the specific needs of each family.

  • Provides parenting/life skills guidance that meets the needs of each family.

  • Collects child health and developmental information; determines other screenings which may be required.

  • In partnership with families, conducts developmental, hearing, and vision screenings. Supports families in seeking appropriate resources based on the results of screenings when needed.

  • Assesses family strengths and resources, including informal support system.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Family Studies or related field of study from an accredited college or university. An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or related field would be considered.

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in an environment with children.

  • Successfully receive certification as a parent educator through Parents As Teachers National Center.

  • Attend trainings designated by the program at the local, state and national level.

  • Maintain current certification as a parent educator by completing the required professional development hours for years of service.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.

  • Must be computer literate with good communication and organizational skills.

Elementary Teacher

Coaching Positions

Washington County JH & HS are currently seeking applicants for various coaching positions. We are looking for energetic driven individuals that are willing to put in the time and effort needed to help WCJH & HS students/athletes develop skills and increase knowledge in their sport.

Flexibility and communication skills are required in order to be considered for the open positions.
