Congrats to these two young ladies! Aviana Hertz and Josi Sanchez both auditioned with their flutes and made it into the District KMEA Honor Band that was held in Manhattan on Saturday, December 2nd. They performed with students from all over the North-Central Kansas area. Aviana has now been accepted to play in the State KMEA 1-2A Honor Band which will be held at Century II from February 22nd-24th. She will be performing with students all over Kansas. Josi was also chosen as an alternate for this event. The concert for the 1-2A Band will be held in Century II in the All-State Concert Hall from 1:00-1:45 on February 24th if anyone is interested in attending. Way to go girls!!
