On April 28th, the WCHS EXPLORE program will be having a vendor fair in the WCHS gym from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This event is a chance for EXPLORE students to showcase the products they have been creating this semester.

EXPLORE is a student- driven program where high school and junior high students choose projects based on their passions.  Projects must meet learning competencies and often students choose to create and market a product.  The Vendor Fair gives these students a chance to experience marketing and pitching their products.

Each of these students will have their own booth to showcase their product and will have an adult to help them manage their sales.  There will be inventory on hand for most products. Some students will have product samples and will be taking custom orders. All students will accept cash, some will accept checks, and very few will accept credit cards.

Some of the products being displayed and sold are chocolate bombs, coasters, wooden door signs, illustrated children’s book “Izzy the Cowgirl Corgi”, handmade pet bandanas, custom phone cases, leather keychains and custom belts, candles, and photography. The students presenting these products are Shelby Laflen, Melanie Hayman, Michaela Juenamen, Ella Dusin, Konner Gepner, Garrison Sand, Joy Lucas, Blake Orth, Grayson Votipka, Kady Toole, and Mackenzie Kuhaneck. To see photos of items being sold and find more details about each product go to the USD108 Facebook page. Although the EXPLORE vendor fair is supported by all WCHS staff, organizers for the event are Lisa Zabokrtsky and Erin Toole.
