The City of Washington has informed USD 108 that they are planning an electrical outage on Thursday, September 8 to do some work on their transformers. It is to begin at 6:00 a.m. with work to be completed by 7:30 a.m.
After discussing several options and the possibility that work might not be completed in the time frame as indicated, we plan to start school an hour late that day. Buses will run an hour late and breakfast will be served. Morning preschool will also be in attendance.
My apologies for any inconvenience this might cause. We are hoping we will have as little disruption as possible.
