Mrs. Baker's 4th grade class want to thank Washington Farm Bureau for sponsoring our trip to Ohlde Dairy today and being out Classroom to Careers sponsor this year. We learned lots and many even said they want to work there when they grow up!
That's a wrap on the junior high track season for 2023. Today, uniforms were turned in, medals and performance books were handed out, kids got a final talk from the coaches on how proud they all were of the kids and the talk on the potential they all have not just athletically but academically and socially. And, what's a junior high party without pizza and pop!

Last night Washington County High School students were recognized at the Elks, Fairbury Lodge for their scholastic achievements and extracurricular involvement. Congratulations!! Kady Toole was awarded the Most Valuable Student At Large (National recognition) Scholarship and at the local level.
Malorie and Emma decided to match up their ceiling tiles... good friends make a good match.

Reminder, tomorrow,Monday, is the Junior High Tigers track team's end of the year celebration after school. We will return equipment to the shed, turn in uniforms and spikes, hand out medals and performance books, and have some food. A great girls and boys team deserves a celebration!

WCHS 7-12 Band and 9-12 Chorus students and parents--Just in case you did not get my email message, we are planning to have a Bake Sale tomorrow night at the concert. If you can bring 2-3 items we would appreciate it. We are trying to raise money to buy updated music and new instruments. Please do not put prices on the baked items as people can donate what they want. Students can bring the items to school with them or parents can drop them off throughout the day. They can be dropped off in the HS music room or in the HS office. Thank you so much for your help, Mrs. Heuer
