Last Thursday was the end of the nine weeks. Our first nine weeks focused on Teamwork, the "T" in TIGER. WCES recognized students who got Tiger Tickets for teamwork. The students got to play a fun teamwork game. We also had Crush Slushes for crushing our end of the year assessments and attendance last year. Sorry we forgot to take pictures of the kids enjoying their slushes.

The play is coming together but we need help with some costumes. If you have any of the following things we could borrow please let Mrs. Toole know:
1. A rich man's cane (see pictures) 2. Granny boots from the 1880s in women's size 9 - something that looks like the ones pictured- or close to it. 3. Men's cowboy boots isize 9 - can be beat up. 14. Men's cowboy boots size 14 - beat up is good. Mark your calendars to come see the play on Saturday, November 15 or Sunday, November 16.

Here is your weekly newsletter. DON'T FORGET - NO SCHOOL MONDAY. Parent-Teacher Conferences are right around the corner. Be sure to reach out to teachers with any questions or concerns that you wish to discuss. Our ability to work as a team is an important factor in your student's success. Let's have a great week!

I cannot express how incredibly proud I am of our boys. They played the most solid game of football to date. From the first whistle to the last every player brought their A game. Every player played and contributed tonight with some recording personal bests. I promised if we had the opportunity to play our second and third string I would. When that opportunity came they realized that our lone senior had a chance to break a school record and unanimously agreed that he be given the opportunity before they played. An act of selflessness by the boys that get little playing time so our leader could make history. History was made and the Junior Varsity got significant playing time. Sometimes it’s not the score but the players that make the game the greatest game on earth.
