Thank you everyone for all your support during the regular season. We ended the season on a very low note to a good Sylvan Lucas team 54-0. We have one more chance to get our first win against Goessel High School at home on the 31 of October at 6:00 pm.

Thank you to all our Tiger fans that came early for the Parent's Night Ceremony and stayed after to enjoy the entertainment we prepared for you. Our first stunt of the night featured the Ruby Reds three seniors flying preps. Our Friday nights being spent with the boys of fall have come to a close. We are especially proud of the two seniors, and the coaches who lead this team and we look forward to cheering them on one last time this year on Thursday! See you there and, "Go Tigers!!" Also, a shout out to the boom squad for the booms and fireworks tonight! We have the BEST community! ❤️🖤🤍
Our Lady Tiger volleyball team was treated to a team meal on the eve of our substate appearance. We are lucky to have such great parents. Thank you, Goeckel family, for hosting.

JHVB celebrated the end of their VB season at the K-State Volleyball game last night. I think all the girls had a fun time!
Preschoolers learned the story of the Five Little Pumpkins this week. We then used engineering skills (and some grit!) to build gates out of clothespins and popsicle sticks that were stable enough to hold 5 pumpkins. Look at the concentration and pride on those little 🐯 faces!
The cheerleaders greeted and visited with students this morning.
Parents: Next week, WCHS Football will host either Gossel or Canton Galva on Thursday Oct. 31st for our Week 9 Bi-District game. This will be our final game of the season. This game will be played at 6:00pm NOT 7:00pm. Once schedules are finalized at the conclusion of this week's games, more information will be dispersed. Congrats to the Washington County FFA Alumni and Supporters being named the National Top Outstanding Alumni Chapter in the nation. Member Tim Zenger was named one of three Outstanding Members in the Nation. What an amazing honor!!
10th and interested 11th grade students attended the KACRAO College Fair at Valley Heights. This is an opportunity to see representatives from colleges/universities/community colleges from across the state and begin exploring options for Post-Secondary.

If you don't already have plans to attend the football game on Friday night at 7 PM you should definitely make the time. At 6:30 we will honor our seniors. The game will start at seven and instead of a traditional halftime show, the band will wait to perform until the end of the game. Here is a hint and a glimpse from tonight's practice. Please plan to stay after for an amazing performance highlighting just how fun band can be. Can you guess what the kids have in store for you?
The Kindergarten class enjoyed having Tina from FNB Washington visit our classroom as part of our Classroom to Careers partnership. We learned about needs, wants, and sorted coins. Thanks for coming!

Teamwork, Integrity, Grit, Empathy, Reflect & Repeat. These are qualities we look for in leaders at Washington County Junior High / High School. This week we recognized five students who were identified by teachers as individuals who consistently show these qualities and exemplify what it means to #BeTigerStrong. Our Quarter 1 Tiger Leaders are (left to right): Madison Thompson (8th Grade), Nora Brabec (9th Grade), Allisson Cisneros (10th Grade), Mr. Brax (HS Math), Destyni Christenson (11th Grade) and Trista Crome (12th Grade). We're so proud of these students and appreciate their leadership in our school.
The Lady Tigers played regional volleyball at Centralia tonight. They took down Lincoln 25-7, 25-9. The Tigers fought a very hard match against Centralia. We lost 15-25, 22-25. We qualified for substate. Substate assignments will come out tomorrow.
Thank you to all the parents that came to play practice Monday night! Costumes and the set are really coming together! We are in need of TWO THIN POOL NOODLES that will not be returned and we still need a "glass" slipper. Please let Mrs. Toole know if you have any of those things.
