4th grade visited the Topeka Capitol for their field trip today. We started with the historical tour and ended with the dome tour where many braved the heights and went clear to the top.
The 4th graders had a great field trip to our state capital and a picnic in Gage Park. They learned a lot of history and many made it to the top of the historical Kansas dome. Did you know Kansas has the 2nd tallest state Capitol in the nation?
We had the best time visiting FNB Washington! Thank you for being Mrs. Peters' Kindergarten Classroom to Career Sponsor. This year we were able to buy new kinetic sand, storage containers for our STEM items, and other essential items for our classroom. Thanks for your continued support of USD 108!
The Kindergarten class had so much fun today on our field trip! We visited Prairieland Equipment John Deere in Clay Center followed by a fun afternoon of playing in the park and visiting the Clay Center Zoo!

1A Regional Golf Update: As of now, we plan to resume play tomorrow as normal. Based on the forecast, it will rain, so please plan accordingly. The only way we will reschedule is if thunderstorms are thrown into the forecast during the time of play. In that case, I will call KSHSAA and get approval for rescheduling to Tuesday.
If anything changes, I will push that information out as soon as I know it.

Mrs. Baker's class had some extra fun this last week. Kyah's grandma shared her airplane gifts with us and had us act out a play. We also celebrated 2 more boys reaching double digits this month with their birthdays!
Mrs. Baker's class participated in Ag Day today that was sponsored by Washington County Extension Office and many other local supporters. Kids learned a lot about farm safety, ag related facts, farm facts, and got many hands on experiences today!
