Influenza A is in our state, community and school currently. KDHE requires students and staff that have been diagnosed with influenza A or B to remain at home for 5 days or 72 hours fever free without medication, whichever is longer. We have also seen strep throat, ear infections, coughing, allergies, and the common cold. Please let me know if I can help with any questions or concerns, or contact your primary care provider.

WCHS boys fall to Solomon last night 3-3-22. WCHS 39 Solomon 58 Nobody wants to undertake a 4-17 season. But if I were to do it, I am glad it was with this group. Not once did I see arguing, pointing fingers, heads hung, or a "give up attitude". The continuous effort and desire to develop as a team and as individuals on a daily basis truly amazed me. I couldn't be more proud of this group. As much as everyone loves to win, and expects wins out of their season, sometimes the growth outside of winning is one heck of a lesson to learn. I truly loved coaching this group. Hunter, Cody, Mason, and Coy. My four seniors that will be missed beyond words. All were leaders all all times of the year. This group couldn't have kept the level head they kept all year long without these 4 individuals. Thank you to you four for working so hard for me for 4 years. You will all reach great potential in years to come!
