
Our Tiger XC teams did amazing today at the TVL. Top 12 medaled and we had Kenzie, Kiersten, Garrison, and Brody all with individual medals. The boys team got 2nd overall. All the athletes represented themselves and our school very well. We are Tiger Proud!





Our Tiger Boys XC team placed 2nd in the TVL today! These boys ran with true determination while fighting the wind, uneven hard ground, and tough competition. Garrison was our top finisher at 5th place, Brody was 9th, Drake was 17th, Tucker was 22nd, Connor was 27th, Blake was 32nd, Ryan was 36th, Lucas was 37th, and Garrett was 39th. These boys will be competing at our home regional on October 22nd with the goal of running at State in Wamego the next week.





Our Tiger XC girls fought through the wind showing their determination and talent today at the TVL meet at Centralia. Kenzie was 2nd place. Kiersten was 10th, and MaKenna was 28th. Alyssa didn’t run today. We host regionals on Saturday, October 22nd and it would be great to show our Tiger Pride for these ladies!




In honor of Fire Prevention Week the Kindergarteners visited the fire station today. They had lots of questions! Thank you Justin for a great tour!

A couple of high school students joined the 6th grade PE class for a friendly game of dodgeball.

Our JH Tiger girls XC team brought home the 3rd place plaque from the BVL meet today. This course was the toughest course of the year, the girls attacked every hill and showed what teamwork and finishing the race can get you. Coach Baker is proud of these 3 girls and the season they had. Individual results and pictures will be posted tomorrow.

At the October 10 BOE meeting, our two building principals were recognized for their leadership in our schools. October is National Principal Appreciation month. Amy Hoover is pictured with BOE president Rod Stewart. Brock Funke was presented his award on Tuesday.
