USD 108 wants to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our very own Brock Funke and Amy Hoover, our secondary and elementary principals.
We are blessed with two of THE VERY BEST and we know it.
Happy National Principal’s Day!

This week is staff appreciation week. Today, the Citizens National Bank provided a delicious Mexican meal for our entire staff. THANK YOU CNB!

Congratulations to Tammy Gano and Harley for being LCNCK's April Goal'd Nugget Winner! Tammy meets the needs of individual students by listening to their needs and delivering instruction and/or support with purpose and differentiation. She is flexible and adaptive. She works diligently and makes sure her job has a true purpose. UsSD 108 students and staff enjoy working with her. In addition, they are especially thankful that Tammy is willing to share Harley, a service dog with their school. Tammy and Harley make a great team and Mrs. McCubbin can't imagine having a classroom without them!

Attention High School Students and Parents:

Jayden and Layla with a matching set of oak tables. They both did an awesome job and it was fun to watch them work together on building the same project. They could help each other and learn together as a team along the way. Nice job, ladies!

Harley Gano received a shipment of phonics books in the mail...addressed to HIM!! Only the most important get school mail. Do you think he can pay with doggy snuggles?

WCJH Track heads to Valley Heights Tuesday, May 2nd for BVL. Good Luck Coaches and Athletes! #BeTigerStrong

Have a great week! #BeTigerStrong

The weather for yesterday's Junior High Track meet was less than ideal, but the tigers didn't let that slow them down or hold them back. A few highlights include bringing home 17 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals. We had 39 PR's yesterday. Our 8th grade boys swept the boys shot with Silvestre, Seth, and Michael bringing home the medals. Blake and Bomani our our only 7th grade boy throwers and they brought home 1st and 2nd in shot put. Chayse and Kale both earned 40 points each for their teams by winning every event they were in. Macie and Kelly tied for 1st in pole vault again. Our girls teams got 5th and 6th yesterday and both our boys teams were the CHAMPS! Our last meet is the BVL meet on Tuesday at Valley Heights. Our goal for all is to get PR's at this meet and see where it puts us for final placings! Official results from yesterday are on athletic.net

Another competitive day for the WCHS track team at the Beloit relays! Not ideal weather for a track meet but we still had some stellar performances against great competition ⚡️🐅 #betigerstrong Results: http://results.tfmeetpro.com/LetsGoRun_Timing/2023_Beloit_Relays/index.html

pH...It's an acid/base thing! And, it's pHun!
The 8th grade science class tested a myriad of substances with a wide range on the 0 ( acid) to 14 (base) pH scale. Our strongest acid was KABOOM cleaner (pH =0) strongest base was CLOROX cleaner (pH = 13).

The 5th and 6th grade band students sounded fantastic tonight. Thank you Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. Heuer for all your hard work in getting them ready.

Friday, April 28 is the last day to pre-order your 2023 yearbook... this is THIS YEAR'S BOOK that will arrive in August. If you don't order one you are not guaranteed a book and only a few extra are ordered each year. Books are $45 - bring money and order form to Mrs. Toole or the office.

Lucas with a neat modern style ash TV stand. This ash was harvested and milled locally. I think it is awesome to have projects that come from locally harvested lumber. Good Job, Lucas!
