It’s track time! Monday we host our first meet and Washington County will have 43 junior high athletes showing off their skills! Field events start at 1:00, 2 mile at about 2:30 with other running to follow.

Hunter with a quality barn door coffee bar he built last year. He did a great job and it turned out really well. The setup looks like something you would see in a magazine.

Laura with a nice solid oak stackable bookcase. She did a fine job on her dado and rabbet joints and I appreciate her attention to detail and her work ethic.

Aidan with a cool cedar toilet paper dispenser. This dispenser has a handy hinge and door to make changing t.p. enjoyable. This is a fun and neat small project the students construct when they need something to do.

Wishing good luck to all the 15 lady tigers who are trying out tonight for the cheer and dance program! A big thanks to our all alumni panel of judges as well!

Were you wondering what was going on at the school tonight? WCHS hosted a forensics meet: 37 adult judges, 20 student helpers, over 100 student participants. and 13 different schools represented. It was a big deal. I want to publically say thank you to all the community members, school employees, and students that helped make tonight a success - what a great group! (From Mrs. Toole)
THANKS AGAIN!
Erin

Sarah with an awesome floating bed she constructed. She also made some neat hexagon shelves with her assistant Zach helping her model her woods projects. This is the third floating bed made this year by WaCo students. Nice work, Sarah!

Jose with a beautiful solid oak pantry/cabinet. He worked really hard and got his project done in a timely matter and will have time to make another quality WaCo built woods project. I appreciate his work ethic. Good job, Jose!

Students in Mrs. Bruna’s Investing class visited Lydia Hiesterman’s office to learn about retirement and investing options. Students have spent time learning the advantages of investing young to ensure a healthy retirement.

Emily Jones receiving her award for being a Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen recipient.
Congratulations, Emily!

This 5th grade group created a school supply drive as their service project. Thank you parents and community members who donated to this project. The teachers were very appreciative. School supplies always run low this time of year.

Congratulations to our WCES March TIGER award winners!
