JH Boys Basketball vs. Blue Valley on Monday, November 23, 2020 has had to be postponed due to COVID 19 Quarantine issues. We will make every attempt to reschedule that game in the future. Thank you for your understanding. Please keep encouraging the athletes!

EXPLORE SPOTLIGHT: Bri, a sophomore at Washington high school has been making a website for a newsletter she is creating as her PBL project. Bri said she likes the fact that she gets to put useful information that will help people know what is going on in our school.

EXPLORE SPOTLIGHT: Emily, a junior at washington county held a dance camp for kids in grades k-6 for her PBL project. Emily said she enjoyed having the kids come in excited about being there and dancing. Parent Stephanie said, “Emily made her daughter feel confident and showed her how fun dancing can be!”

A huge shoutout to Elements Salon and Day Spa for providing coffee, hot chocolate, and other drinks during our inservice. We appreciated it greatly.

Tiger Basketball (JH & HS) 11/16 - 11/21 JH Girls - Modified Quarantined WILL NOT practice. JH Boys - Practice will be in the East Elementary Gym 3:15PM - 5:00PM; HS Girls - Practices 3:30PM - 5:30PM in HS Gym; HS Boys - Practice 3:30PM - 5:45PM in West Gym

Here’s a big “Thank You” to Kelsie Beikmann and her “Cooking Angels” for bringing a wonderful Italian meal to all of the school employees. It was a delicious break that we all needed.

Attention WCJHS Basketball Players and Parents, I just received word from Republic County JHS that they will NOT be able to play Boys or Girls, on Monday, 11/16/20, due to quarantine issues. I am sorry for the change. We will try to reschedule those games! Ms. Enyart

There will be an After Prom meeting for all Junior and Senior parents this evening, November 12th at 5:30 PM in the HS gym. Masks will be required, temps at the door, and social distancing.

Monday’s menu has changed. Breakfast is cinnamon roll and sausage. Lunch is chicken strips, tri-tater, corn and roll. Fruit and milk is included with all meals.

Thank you parents for being patient with our district as we have made our way through this most recent Covid situation. At this time, most phone calls have been made as to who will be in quarantine. School will resume as normal on Monday. Students in this newest round of quarantine will resume learning on Tuesday either at home or in a modified quarantine. There are still some Covid tests pending that may require additional quarantining. We will keep you informed as soon as we have any more information. Thank you again for your understanding.

U.S.D. 108 has just been notified of a positive non-staff adult case of Covid that might have multiple student exposures with some students exhibiting symptoms. To keep all students and staff safe and to allow the district time to track any potentially affected students, there will be NO SCHOOL in U.S.D. 108 tomorrow, Friday, November 6th. We apologize for this late notice, but we were just notified by the health department.
