Since World Kindness Day is this Saturday, The third grade class of Mrs. Lucas learned how important kindness is in friendship. They saw how kindness linked them together and when someone didn’t do their part, the friendship web was never the same. We can all use this lesson…Be Kind on Saturday…and every day!

On Thursday, November 11, the Washington County High School will be hosting a Veterans Day assembly. The program will be in the WCHS gymnasium at 9:30 a.m. We would like to personally invite all Veterans from our surrounding community and welcome the public, family, and friends to help us honor them. We look forward to the opportunity to honor those who have and are currently serving in the armed forces.
We encourage parents, students, and staff to invite any service members past or present to join us. Veterans and guests, please contact WCHS at (785) 325-2261 if you plan on attending.

First 9 Weeks Tiger Strong Award Winners! #betigerstrong

Today in 3rd grade library class, Mrs. McClure’s students learned about the importance of being kind and keeping lifelong friendships. Each student said something kind about another and passed them the yarn. When we were finished, we had a beautiful friendship spider web. The students realized that if they weren’t kind and dropped their yarn, the friendship web was ruined. Saturday is World Kindness Day, so don’t forget to work hard at being kind. We can make this a nicer world! 💕

FREE Movie Night is this Friday at 7:00. High school gym. Feature presentation: THE GREATEST SHOWMAN
