
P.E dance off, so much FUN!


Thanks to KDHE's Waste Tire Grant program and the Larry Ouellette Memorial, WCES was able to get started on an outdoor learning area. Over the summer we tore out dying bushes, leveled the ground, installed landscape cover and edging, and put in recycled tire rubber mulch. Using recycled tires for the mulch helps to keep tires from filling up landfills.

Students engage in relationship building during TigerTime and throughout the day. September 5-11 is National Suicide Prevention Week with World Suicide Prevention Day on the 10th. Bringing awareness and support to our students!





Our Washington County XC girls are on fire! All 3 girls ran hard, showed grit and determination, and medaled yesterday at our home meet!

Washington County Boys have this XC thing figured out. They are running well, being great leaders, and working to make improvements. Our home meet, temperatures were hot and no breeze, and it was a prime showing for them.

4th graders are working hard on this Friday. In math they are mastering the standard of rounding numbers, in science they are beginning to learn about the building block late of life: cells, and in social studies we will discuss 9/11.





We are sorry to let you know we are cancelling the Jr High dance for tonight because of many students being out. We will reschedule.
