WCHS boys fall to Solomon last night 3-3-22.
WCHS 39
Solomon 58
Nobody wants to undertake a 4-17 season. But if I were to do it, I am glad it was with this group. Not once did I see arguing, pointing fingers, heads hung, or a "give up attitude". The continuous effort and desire to develop as a team and as individuals on a daily basis truly amazed me. I couldn't be more proud of this group. As much as everyone loves to win, and expects wins out of their season, sometimes the growth outside of winning is one heck of a lesson to learn. I truly loved coaching this group. Hunter, Cody, Mason, and Coy. My four seniors that will be missed beyond words. All were leaders all all times of the year. This group couldn't have kept the level head they kept all year long without these 4 individuals. Thank you to you four for working so hard for me for 4 years. You will all reach great potential in years to come!
#3 WCHS Girls take on #2 Mankato Girls tonight 3-4-22! Come out and support! Go Tigers!

This group of 5th grade students chose the center island on C Street in Washington as their service project. Caroline, employee for the city, was very impressed with how hard they worked.

As a service project, this 5th grade group of students chose to clean up Munchkinland. They cleaned up so much that they filled the city truck twice with trash bags.

This 4th grade group chose to clean up the south side of the Washington Park as their service project. They worked hard and had tons of sticks piled by the end of their time.

#6 WCHS Boys vs. #2 Solomon tonight 3-3-22. Come out and support! Go Tigers!

Thank you, Vickie Chalfant, for getting this book for the high school library!

With this nice weather, out comes the track equipment at Washington County!
Reminder: if you are not actively on our track team, do not uncover the pole vault or high jump pits and do not jump on them while covered. They are not trampolines! If you are actively on our track teams and you practice, remember to put everything back and cover it all.
JH’s first home meet is March 28th! HS’s home meet is April 26th.

This 4th grade group did their service project today in this beautiful weather. They chose to clean up the Greenleaf Clubhouse lawn and paint lines on the basketball court. Thanks Jerry Baker for helping us with this.

This 4th grade group decided to do a bake sale for their service project. The proceeds are going to the elementary library to help pay for books. The students raised $148. It was a very successful project.
