4th graders had a special guest come speak to them. Jeremy Craig spoke about his time in the Army, his areas he got to visit while serving, and how he earned the Purple Heart! He had awards and medals to show and answered so many questions. Ask your student what they learned today from Mr. Craig.

Washington County FFA members attended the North Central District Dairy Cattle Career Development Event at the Ohlde Dairy in Linn, Kansas. The event consisted of four classes of cows, two classes of heifers, two sets of reasons, and a dairy cattle management exam. WCHS Freshmen Nicole Avila finished as the 1st Place Individual in the Greenhand Division with over 140 individuals participating!
In the Senior division, the team placed 2nd overall. Coy Stamm led the team by placing as the 4th place individual. Additional team members include Natalie Harlan, Brett Buhrman, Mackensi Meier, Payton LeDuc, Tiffani Allerheiligen, Elizabeth Wright, Lance Gerleve, Miray Ekici, Sarah Portenier, Joe Kern and Austin Wurtz.
