Wchs competed in a 9 team varsity scholars bowl meet at Blue Valley tonight. . They placed 5th with a 3-5 record.


Using the donation made by the City of Washington to our classroom, preschoolers were able to paint a special winter canvas with parents/grandparents! Kurt from DMD designs led us in the project. Thank you City of Washington and DMD Designs for helping us with this fun family event and keepsake!





Thanks Miss Rebecca for visiting our class today! We learned a little about Farm Bureau and about dairies and where our milk comes from. The kids had a great time!




Thanks Dr Garrett for taking time to visit Mrs. McClure's class today and bringing a few extra friends. It was fun to learn all about what you do!!

A big thank you to Carl and Caroline from the City of Washington for visiting both preschool classes. They discussed where electricity and water comes from in the city, as well as being safe and resourceful with both. This visit was part of the Chamber of Commerce Careers to Classroom sponsorship.
