We have symptoms of fifths disease in school. It starts with cold/allergy symptoms, maybe a fever. A few days later, the student might break out with a rash. The cheeks are usually red, there is a fine lacy rash on the arms, legs, torso. The student is no longer contagious once the rash starts. There is more information on the CDC website. https://www.cdc.gov/parvovirusb19/fifth-disease.html
