Garrison was 22nd at 20:10, Atticus was 26th at 20:27, Lucas was 47th at 22:55, Ryan was 51st at 24:49, and Garrett was 52nd with 24:57. What an incredible start to the fall season. Tiger Family you are AMAZING. The support you show to ALL your kids is fabulous! If you missed the game last night we are sorry you missed our first (of many) Marching Field Show Halftime Performances. YOUR Band and Flag Core (aka Ruby Reds) took the field last night. With one rehearsal together they put on a 3 song display of learning to march for you. Huge thank you to Ethan Schuette for reading our script, and the Boom Squad for lighting up the night.
Don't worry the next home game will bring a new show, new material, new music, and a whole lot of fun. Videos won't attach here so check the comments if you missed it, but know each show will get a little bigger, a little wilder, and a whole lot brighter.
Oh, and did I mention when all are healthy your Marching Squad is 49 people strong! That is incredible, insane, and humbling for me all at the same time!
Pictures don't do this show justice, so check the comments for videos!
Thank you for welcoming me into the Tiger family, and thank you for the support of your Marching Tigers.
Homecoming week brings on some Pink...I can't wait for you to see the show!
Director of Bands, Abi Sawin

What a night! Thank you tiger fans for showing up and showing out tonight. No other team we would rather back than those donning Tiger jerseys on a fall Friday night. The Ruby Reds will be ready to lead you in rooting for WCHS next week in Axtell.

It was a very tough loss tonight. The team battled but couldn't overcome a very physical Blue Valley team. Our boys will learn and get better from this loss. Thank you for all your support. We will improve as the season progresses.

Our first Tiger Pep Rally was a fun time. The Ruby Reds and the Tiger marching band worked hard to get everyone fired up for our first home football game. Tigers vs. Rams starts at 7 tonight. #BeTigerStrong

Mr. Hubbard's 5th graders are learning about setting goals in counseling. We started off with a fun activity by setting a goal of how many balls they could toss into a basket. Mrs. Walter's 2nd graders are learning about expected and unexpected behaviors. We started off by listening to No, David by David Shannon. A great book about unexpected behaviors!

XC athletes must have 12 practices before the first meet. Our team will have 14. Thursday, I will have a 6:30 morning practice for those JH kids that can't afford to miss another practice and have other obligations Thursday evening or for anyone else that wants to get practice done early tomorrow.
