What a nice day it was at Belleville Country Club! The golf team had a bit of an off day, but as coach I was very proud of them for keeping their heads up and grinding out some solid scores. Our lone medalist was Grayson Votipka, who shot an 87, good for 10th after winning a playoff hole. The team also took 2nd in the 4-person format and 2nd in the 6-person format. Tomorrow, we travel to Nemaha for their invitational starting at 1. Grayson Votipka 87-10th Tucker Huband 89-14th Braylen Meier 90-15th Noah Hoover 92- 16th Monte Huckett. 94-21st Mayze Miller 96- 25th

Congratulations to Washington County's very own FFA State Band Members. Cayden Meadows (sophomore) was selected as a percussionist. Zoe Sawin(freshman) was selected as the Bari Sax player. Both will be attending State Convention at the end of May and performing at the State convention. We are proud of their willingness to step outside of their comfort zone and send in their auditions. Now they will have the opportunity to audition for the national FFA band.

Gavyn is pictured with a beautiful oak desk that he built. It turned out well, and it will serve him for years to come. He worked hard to build this and other projects in one school year. Good job, Gavyn!
