Congratulations to our Washington County Musicians who have been selected to participate in Wichita at the 12A State Honor Band. Out of 154 nominated students 7 of our students were selected to be in the main ensemble or an alternate. These students will be working with famous composer and conductor Adrian Sims.

**TIME CORRECTION**

In the weekly newsletter, the game times for tonight's games were listed incorrectly. WCHS Girls will play Onaga at 5 PM followed by the boys competition between Onaga and Valley Heights.

Forensics Shirts are available for order now! All orders must be turned in to Mrs. Bruna or Mrs. Toole by this Friday, January 30. Participants, parents, grandparents, and fans - show your WCHS forensics pride!

The Ruby Reds Little Tigers Clinic forms are due tomorrow! If you don't have the form but want your K-6 student to participate email kwenzl@usd108.org Clinic will be Monday February 2nd and performance will be February 5th. Our shirts will fit the BoosterClub theme of "White Out"!

Junior High BVL first round games have been postponed until Jan. 29. New bracket will be posted tomorrow.

U.S.D. 108 Washington County Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Monday, January 26. No breakfast served. No morning preschool.

This week's Sketch of the Week by Destiny was too good not to share. The assignment was to create a composition by drawing at least 12 different styles of type and Destiny's was pretty purrrrfect!

WC is the place to be!! Let's go, Tigers! Tiger fans, boys are playing at home now and the girls play tonight in Frankfort.

I am extremely proud of our Junior High girls. We fought hard and played the entire game with great energy. We might of lost 48-14, but we won in many other ways.

The TVL specials tonight include a pulled pork sandwich meal deal, chili, and pulled pork nachos. Come out to cheer on your WCHS Tigers tonight and support the Class of 2028 at concessions!

💥❤️Tournament Update🖤💥 Below are the remaining game times for both Boys and Girls Basketball. ➡️Elementary Entrance will not be open until 3:30 pm. Please refrain from parking over there until all of our elementary car riders are picked up safely. This applies both Thursday and Friday. 🔴Monday's games have been moved back to Washington but will start at 5 PM Good Luck Tigers 🐅 *Finding Gate workers is a challenge with the moved up game times. Check out this "Big 8" buck on Lucas's "crusader-style" deer plaque. He hunted hard and got a nice buck, and then made a really unique and cool plaque to commemorate the hunt. Good job, Lucas!

Seth built a dual-purpose project, a small end table slash ottoman. He used oak and did a quality job. I am a big fan of golden oak stain; it always turns out well. Good work, Seth!

Brayttan built a second bookcase for his family. He built one just like it last year. This is made out of pine, and he did a nice job constructing it. Good job, Brayttan!
