The 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students earned a reward for their outstanding accomplishments last year during spring testing. We had a great time today cheering on the KSU Lady Basketball team. Even though the game did not end the way we wanted it, fun experiences were had by many. (Part 3 of pics)

Blake crafted a high-quality quilt stand from beech wood. This turned out nicely with the farmhouse-style heart cutout and darker stain. Good job, Blake!

Abby made a nice live-edge elm charcuterie board. This is a great project for the holiday season. Good job, Abby!

Karsen built a neat Harley-Davidson wall hanging. He wood burned the logo and then made his own orange stain to complete the project. Good job, Karsen!

Anna built an engraved apron hanger for Kier's. It turned out really well, and I like the fruit engraved and painted on the project. Good job, Anna!

While we don't have a picture, Joe Kern (WCHS Class of 2024) was also recognized at the December BOE meeting for being one of 4 national finalists in Ag Mechanics. Congratulations Joe.....we are so proud!
At the December board meeting, the WCHS Ruby Red cheer and dance squad were recognized for receiving 6th place at STATE on November 22. These young ladies light up the sidelines at every home athletic event and we love their energy! The team is pictured with their coaches Katie Wenzl and Stacy Lovgren.

At the December board meeting, the Nursery Landscaping team that placed 15th in the nation at the National FFA convention earlier this fall was recognized for this wonderful achievement. Cayden Meadows is pictured with adviser John Kern. Other team members are Tanner Baker, Makenna Elliott, and William Svanda. USD 108 is proud of you!
