7-12 Winter Music Concert
Tuesday, December 19th
7:00 p.m. in the H.S. Gym
--7-12 Band students are to arrive in the HS Music Room to warm up no later than 6:00 p.m. to tune their instruments.
--8th Grade Chorus should arrive at 6:30 p.m to warm up.
--HS Chorus will warm up at 6:45 p.m.
--Guitar Class can come in any time after 6:30 p.m. to get their guitars and take them to the gym.
--The 7th Grade Vocal Class should be seated in their spots in the gym no later than 6:55 p.m. The guys in the 7th grade have been asked to wear an UGLY SWEATER and the girls have been asked to wear concert dress (Nice clothes such as a dress, leggings and a nice blouse or sweater, etc.).
Just a reminder to all students and parents that music class grades are based primarily on participation points and performances, such as concerts. This concert is worth 50 points toward their grade. If your child has an excused absence, such as an illness, family emergency, etc., they will be allowed to make up the points. If they just do not show up to the concert, they will not get to make up the points. Thanks so much for your help with this. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at cheuer@usd108.org or 785-325-2261

Carson with a quality built dimensional lumber desk. He was kind enough to build this for his sister and it turned out neat with the stained top and painted white bottom. Good job, Carson!

Emerson, Sera, and Gavyn with some nice tavern mirrors headed home for the holidays. Check out the antler knobs on Emerson's mirror. All three did a nice job on their project.

Kenny Cook is retiring! In honor of this milestone, the USD 108 Board of Education recognized Kenny at their December meeting. Kenny "is not replaceable or able to be duplicated. He is the GOAT". USD 108 wishes him nothing but the best!
