🐾 Washington County Tigers Volleyball 🐾

The Tigers took on St. Peter and Paul tonight and while the scoreboard didn’t swing our way, every game was a chance to learn and grow. Our players are working hard to build skills, gain confidence, and push forward as a team.

🔴 A Team: 9–25, 8–25
⚫ B Team: 9–25, 7–25
🔴 C Team: 19–25, 25–23 (earning a strong win in set two!)

We know we have a lot to improve on, and that’s part of the journey. Each practice and game gives us the opportunity to sharpen our play, build stronger teamwork, and prepare for what’s ahead.

We’re proud of the fight our athletes are showing and the effort they continue to put in. With red and black pride, we’ll keep working toward progress every single day.

Next up ➡️ Blue Valley on Monday, September 15. Let’s keep learning, improving, and fighting together. 🏐🐯

A big thank you to our parents who support the art program through Artsonia! 🎨 When you purchase items like mugs, quilt blocks, or ornaments featuring your child’s artwork, 10% comes back to our art room. Those funds allow us to get special extras we weren’t able to plan for—like these brand-new drawing boards! With more students in art this semester than we’ve had in years, they couldn’t have come at a better time.

The girls came up short against D-West and Hanover tonight dropping both games in two sets. Even though we lost them both I think we may have learned some valuable lesson that will help us going forward. Hopefully those lessons will translate into a few wins this weekend at Frankfort. We appreciate everyone coming over to watch us.

High School Volleyball is in action again tonight at Hanover in a triangular with Hanover and D-West. JV plays at 4:00 vs Hanover. Then roughly around 7:00 the varsity will play D-West. The varsity will then conclude the evening with a contest against Hanover at roughly 8:00. Please come out and cheer on the girls if you can. If you can't and would like to see the matches (varsity matches anyway), they are being streamed on:
