Students in STEM 8 built self-propelled vehicles. Through a lot of trial and error, students learned more about the engineering design process.

Our Washington County Musicians had a great day in Concordia at Regional Solo and Small Ensemble competition. 15 students competed from Washington county !!
We received all 1's and 2's today meaning superior and excellent. It was a great day to make music. Taking photos didn't take top priority but here are a few!
Earning Excellent ratings were Joselyn-flute solo, Garrett-tenor solo, Lilly-vocal solo, Charlie-vocal solo, Emma- vocal solo, Anna-Vocal solo, Trumpet Trio- Mackenzie, Tucker, & Witt, Cayden-snare solo, Zoe-Bari Sax Solo, Madison - clarinet solo, Flute duet-Aviana &Joselyn.
Earning Superior and getting to move on to state on April 26 are:
Helena -vocal solo, Kelly-percussion solo, Aviana - flute solo, Senior Quartet- Joselyn, Aviana, Mackenzie, and Natalya.
I can't tell you how impressed I was with each and every student. I can't wait to see what they accomplish next!











Your High School Washington County Tigers kicked off their 2025 track season today at Frankfort. The Tigers had a very strong showing for our first meet. We are excited to see what the future meets hold for our athletes. Keep up the hard work!

There is no junior high or high school track practice tomorrow, April 4, 2025.

WCHS Art Students showed their work at the TVL Art Show in Valley Heights today bringing home 13 blue ribbons, 14 red, and 12 white out of 70 pieces. Special congratulations to Saki for earning Best of Show for her colored pencil drawing, "Eye". Although 25 students had work in the show, 13 went to the event to participate in on-site competitions with the following results: Comic Doodle 1st Atticus & Mauricio, 3rd Nora & Macy, Poster Design 2nd Mauricio & Atticus, Clay Sculpture 3rd Saki & Madision. The team came home with the 2nd place overall trophy. Make sure to come to the Spring Show April 30 to see all their work.

Tiger Designs is proud to say that we are creating the Fireball Softball Tournament shirts! Stephanie Kern has chosen this design as the 2025 design. 2T-Adult XL is $15, and 2XL and 3XL are $17. Orders are due April 30, and pick up day of tournament on May 10. Make checks payable to WCHS FBLA.
