Our tiger girls XC team are physically and mentally tough! We didn't have any state qualifiers but coaches are just as proud of them as if they did qualify. They ran hard today and have worked hard all season. It's been a fun season, but all good things have to end.... until next season! Nora was 22nd, Madison was 27th, Addy was 44th, and Angel was 45th.

We have a STATE qualifier! Atticus finished in 11th and earned a Regional medal and will be competing at STATE next week. Lyle competed hard and was 37th. Emery got caught in the mud and didn't finish. The conditions were horrible today. Rain and mud everywhere. Physically we were ready and these boys showed they were ready mentally. Coaches are so proud of these boys.

It is official Washington County will play Ell Saline next Thursday night away. We are looking forward to the first round of the playoffs and what can happen.
Regional XC, they are physically ready and today we are testing are mental toughness. Our Tigers are Tiger strong!

Tonight we face a very tough 6-1 Sylvan Lucas team. Unfortunately we lost 52-6 in the first half. The boys played hard the whole half despite getting down early. They showed passion and drive the whole game. We scored on our second possession on an Easton Finlayson touchdown pass to Eli Crome. The following possessions we had a series of fumbles that cost us the game. We are waiting the results from tonight’s games to determine who we will play in the playoffs. I am proud of this team and their spirit and look forward to making our first playoff appearance since taking over.
The Food Innovations collaborative project between culinary class and 8th grade STEM class finished today with taste testing and voting from the 7-9th grade students! It was great to hear the enthusiasm buzzing through the halls. There was some skepticism but everyone was pleasantly surprised. The students can't wait to see who won the Student Choice Award.

Our talented student cast has been rehearsing for months to bring the wild and wacky world of Fort Nugget to life! From sneaky suspects to delicious dumplings , these students are ready to steal the spotlight — and maybe steal a few scenes, too. 🎬

We were building GRIT in preschool, engineering gates to hold up 5 Little Pumpkins. Using tubes, clips and shims, students built, discussed, and built again to make their gates. We learn from our mistakes!

Mark your calendars! If you are unable to attend, we will stream the event through Facebook Live on our USD 108 Facebook page.

Jonathan built a beautiful bowl and an end-grain cutting board. The cutting board is made out of walnut, oak, ash, and beech. The bowl is purple heart and walnut. His attention to detail makes his projects exceptional. Good job, Jonathan!

The boys had the opportunity to hold doors open for our future Tiger football players and cheerleaders. These opportunities give our boys a chance to inspire future students to participate in athletics and demonstrate role model behaviors.

Regional XC after more 2 sleeps!

FBLA's Tiger Designs was thrilled to partner with the Washington County Hospital and create apparel for hospital employees. We were able to make shirts in colors not usually made here at school. We appreciate the hospital for this opportunity!
