Parents of Personal Finance students: For the next 2 weeks, we will be discussing taxes. Today, we learned the following words: inheritance tax, excise tax, 3 types of taxable income, exclusion, tax-exempt, tax-deferred, AGI, tax shelter, tax deduction, and itemized deductions. Ask your child and discuss with them. The plan is to be filling out 1040s by Friday.

The elementary students loved having the high school football players, cheerleaders, and homecoming candidates come visit and play with us this morning. The high school students are great role models for our younger Tigers.
