Parents of Personal Finance students: For the next 2 weeks, we will be discussing taxes. Today, we learned the following words: inheritance tax, excise tax, 3 types of taxable income, exclusion, tax-exempt, tax-deferred, AGI, tax shelter, tax deduction, and itemized deductions. Ask your child and discuss with them. The plan is to be filling out 1040s by Friday.

Junior and Senior Parents,
There will be an After Prom Meeting on Wednesday, September 20th, in Mr. Kearn's room. Hope to see you all there.
