We have the TVL girls XC champ! Kenzie was the first to cross the line with 22:01! Kiersten ran hard and had her season best time and was 15th with 24:03. Charley ran a great race and just missed her season best time by 15 seconds, but ran almost 3 minutes faster than 3 weeks ago on this same course. Makenna is hurt and wasn't able to run today. These girls are practicing hard and it's paying off. #tigerstrong Thank you to all the Tiger fans that came out today!

What a fun day in first grade! As a culminating activity for our study of the human body, in our new ELA curriculum, we became a medical team. We put some bodies together in order to review the skeletal, muscular, digestive, circulatory, and nervous systems.
Then we used our knowledge to help out some sick, or injured, patients!

Don't miss the competition tonight for best cheer dad!

Today was our BVL meet at University Park. This course is the toughest course our junior high runs on. It has 153 feet of elevation gain with some super rocky and steep hills. Our JH boys did not back down from this challenge. Coy was our medalist and he got 3rd in the 8th grade division. Lyle ran a great race in a large 6th and 7th grade division. He was 13th overall and Emery was 18th and ran a strong complete race. The coaches are proud of these boys for the work they put in, determination and grit shown, staying eligible all year, and improvements made. #tigerstrong

Today was the last meet for our Junior High XC team. We ran at University Park outside of Manhattan. This course is the hardest course we run on. It has 153 feet of elevation gain in the 2 miles. It has super steep hills the kids run up and down. Our girls brought home the 2nd place BVL Award! The coaches are so proud of these girls and the way the trained and improved all season. These girls should be proud of themselves too. Madison medaled today as the 5th place 7th grade girl, she was 10th overall. Nora was 13th, Bell was 19th, Libby was 20th, and Janessa was 21st.

Preschool celebrated Fire Safety Month with a trip to fhe fire station! We learned ways to stay safe, the tools used to fight fires, and not to be afraid of firemen in their protective gear! Thanks, Justin (and bus drivers! That was another highlight of the trip)!

The 8th Grade Kansas History class was tasked with creating a new state seal and motto for Kansas. The kids did a great job of showing their creative side with this project! #betigerstrong
