Our high school girls competed very well today at the Riley XC meet. In a field of 92 runners and a field of many larger schools our girls represented WC in a very positive manner. Kenzie medaled and was the first 1A girl across the line at 20th and a time of 22:24, Kiersten was 34th with a time of 24:12, Charley was 77th with a PR of 33:30. MaKenna ran very strong for 2.5 miles but then slipped on a steep hill and wasn't able to finish.

Our junior high xc runners ran very fast races today. This is the biggest meet we compete in and Riley has some major hills. On the boys side there were 85 runners. Emery was 61st with 15:16, Lyle was 67th with 16:08, and Coy was 77th with 18:01. On the girls side out of 63 runners, Nora was 20th with 15:14, Madison was 30th with 15:59, Bella was 39th with 16:53, Libby was 55th with 19:03, and Janessa was 60th with 21:46. Their xc season will conclude on Tuesday as Blue Valley will host our BVL race.
