WCHS FFA Greenhands attend the Greenhand Conference in Salina last month. Over 400 students from across the district took part in leadership training, team building activities and learned about leadership and personal growth opportunities available to FFA members throughout their high school experience. Additionally, the Greenhands took an FFA information test and I am proud to say that our own Tanner Baker finished as the 4th high individual in the district on the Leadership Information Exam. Way to go Tanner! I was waiting on full results before I posted this, sorry for the delay! We have a great group of Freshmen FFA members this year!

WCHS Veterinary Science Class had a great experience yesterday when we toured the Kansas Specialty Dog Service (KSDS). We really appreciate their staff for taking the time to meet with our students to show us a glimpse of what KSDS is all about. It is exciting to have such an amazing service right here in Washington!
