Our community and school are lucky to have some very gracious donors. A very kind man who doesn't want any recognition dropped by the woodshop with some beautiful Walnut, Ash, and Honey Locust boards. The students are already building some neat projects with the lumber.
4th graders have started fractions. Our Introduction lesson is much better with skittles. Fractions can be talked about everywhere. Exposure and discussing fractions help the learning process.

We didn’t bring home the Ws tonight, but the Ruby Reds had a great time cheering our teams on. Very impressed with their effort and teamwork on the sidelines. Today our 6th grade students read to our K-5 students a book about Kindness. This went well with our Great Kindness Challenge this week.

Kindergarten would like to say thank you to our Classroom to Careers sponsor United Bank and Trust! Because of their generous sponsorship we were able to purchase a class set of zipper pouches to replace the original plastic baggies that stored our phonics manipulatives. We also added a magnetic letter writing board to our inventory of center activities. Thank you UBT!
