Based on the weather forecast of a snowstorm arriving late tonight and into tomorrow morning, USD 108 will not have school on Thursday, February 16. No activities and no practices. Stay safe!

Solomon hosted the meet today at the Alley in Salina. All of the teams bring home a win today with several setting new high scores. Angelina Cisneros has indv high for JV girls, Blake Orth for JV boys, Varsity girls were led by Kasha Marroquin with Melanie Hayman only one on behind her and Varsity Boys, Quentin Rhoades was only one on better than Tucker Huband for the top spots. Awesome bowling today, headed in the right direction for regionals coming up next Wed in Leavenworth. Keep rolling Tigers!!!!

At the February 13 BOE meeting, the 108 board recognized our wonderful custodial staff for all the work and hours they put in during the TVL tourney. We are so proud of how our schools look! Thank you Kenny, KP, and Cindy for going above and beyond!


At the February BOE meeting, the 108 Board of Education recognized Coach Scott Romeiser on his 200th girls' basketball win. What an awesome accomplishment. Congratulations!!


4th graders are done with book 1 in math, so this calls for some fun. It's a rainy day, but in Mrs. Baker's classroom, the snowballs are flying!





The snow storm might not be here yet, but there was a snowball fight in Mrs. Baker's classroom. We are done with book 1, so let's have some fun before we start the fun of fractions!





Students in STEM experimented with balloons and coffee to make a device to pick up objects similarly to a device made by Cornell University researchers.

We were in Junction City again today for thier senior day quad. lots of good bowling from all the teams. JV girls placed 2nd with Angelina Cisneros bringing home a 3rd place medal. JV Boys also placed second team with Blake Orth just missing out of top 5. Varsity girls had a tough time today but managed asecond place team finish to a very hot Junction City team. Varsity Boys bring home a 3rd place finish against two of the states top 6A teams with Konner Gepner shooting a 601 series for a top 6 finish. Good bowling Tigers, more on to our last two meets for the season, Wednesday at the Alley in Salina at 2pm and our last home meet Thursday at 3pm . Come on Tigers!!!! Let's Roll into regionals strong!!
