Today was our TVL Meet at Centralia Lake. It was hot and windy, but our kids ran great. The effort was there! Earning All League Honors went to those who placed in the top 12. Atticus was 10th and Lyle was 12th. Way to go, boys, the hard work and mileage is paying off. Nora was just outside of the League honors with a 15th place. Madison was 21st, Addy was 29th, Angel was 33rd, and Susy was 36th. Our girls placed 4th as a team! Way to push each other, girls. Coaches are proud of you!
Of course, when we are at the Lake, we have swimmers.

🐾 Washington County Tigers Volleyball Update 🐾
The Tigers closed out their regular season tonight against Hanover with both the A and B teams taking the court. Even though both teams didn’t get the win, they finished strong.
🔴 A Team: came together and truly played as a team — their energy, communication, and effort were great to see. We’re proud of the way they showed up and finished the regular season strong.
⚫ B Team: faced a tough match but gained valuable experience and playing time that will help them continue to grow.
It’s been a season of learning, improvement, and teamwork. These athletes have continued to put in the effort, support one another, and represent Washington County with pride and heart.
Next up ➡️ BVL Tournament in Randolph on Monday! Let’s finish strong, Tigers! 🏐🐯

Hayden built a nice quail pen out of dimensional lumber. It is always neat to see what each student wants to construct each year. Good job, Hayden! He is pictured with classmates who helped at different times during the build.

Carter built a nice padauk and walnut cutting board with the juice groove around the edge. It turned out neat with the reddish padauk and dark brown walnut contrast. Good job, Carter!

The future of Washington County XC looks great with these boys on the team. Our BVL meet was today and on a very hilly course that's easily the toughest course of the season. When we started the season many of them struggled to run a half mile without walking, they weren't sure what they got themselves into, and wasn't sure that XC was something for them. It's obvious to see the growth in these boys physically and mentally. These boys are fun, hardworking, like to push each other, and are competitive. Boys, the coaches are proud to say that you were all successful this season.

The Junior High XC team finished their season on the toughest course of the season. It was hot and very hilly. Our girls did great. They have steadily improved all season and learned that they are capable of more than they know. Girls, the coaches are proud of you and your willingness to give XC a try!

The high school volleyball team was able to send the seniors off with a win in their last night of playing at home with a 25-15, 25-23 win over Frankfort! We were not as fortunate against Valley Heights as we dropped that match in two sets. But what a great senior night for the girls! The win pushed us to 10 wins on the season! The girls have came a long ways since we first started back in June! Thanks to all who came out and supported the girls!
The high school volleyball team is in action tonight at home in a triangular with Frankfort and Valley Heights. It is also parents night tonight, so come out and support the teams tonight if you can. Varsity games will be in the high school gym and JV games will be in the elementary gym.
4:00 C-team Frankfort vs Valley Heights 5:00 Washington County vs Frankfort Varsity and JV 6:00 Valley Heights vs Frankfort Varsity and JV 7:00 Washington County vs Valley Heights Varsity and JV
