When we get back from break, WCES will have a new music teacher. Just kidding! Our music teacher is getting married and her new name will be Mrs. Stevenson. We had fun today celebrating her upcoming marriage.

WCES celebrated the recipients of the Tiger Integrity Tickets with an Integrity Challenge. Over 60 students were recognized for demonstrating integrity during the second 9-weeks. Keep up the good work students!

Mrs. Walter’s second grade class has been learning about how countries around the world celebrate the winter holidays. They enjoyed traveling with their suitcases, boarding tickets, creating crafts, and getting stamps at the end of the visit.

Washington County Elementary is blessed to have Mrs. Hoover as our principal. She wears many hats during the day. This morning she had an office full of kids that weren’t in trouble, but were setting up their North Pole real estate under her guidance.

Parents/Students: Attached you will find the 22-23 JH-HS Christmas Break Practice Schedule. If you have any questions, please contact the respective head coach or Bobby Smith. Thank you!

Thank you to Rebecca Frerking and Washington County Farm Bureau for sponsoring Mrs. Baker’s classroom.

USD 108 will have a 2 hour late start today (Monday, December 19th), due to slick and icy roads. Buses will run 2 hours late. We will reassess the situation later this morning. No morning preschool. No breakfast will be served.

WCHS Boys fall in both A and B games tonight. Not due to a lack of effort! I am proud of the effort displayed. Come back Monday and get better!

Who said the 4th graders couldn’t go to graduation with Mr. Hubbard? The 4th graders are very proud of Mr. Hubbard for graduating with his Masters in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University.

Yearbooks are only $40 for a few more days! It WILL NEVER be priced this low again! If you haven't purchased a yearbook yet - it's a great time to do it.

A big THANK YOU to Styled by R for supporting Mrs Frager’s first grade classroom. Because of her contribution we were able to purchase some 3D puzzles for our classroom.

Great performances tonight by our 7-12 grade students! We are proud of you! #betigerstrong 🎄
