Words cannot express the gratitude I have for this team. They fought through adversity so many times, and have always come out stronger. Seniors-Being your coach for the last four years was a privilege and an honor. You guys are wonderful role models and I know you will achieve great things in your lives. As for the Underclassmen, the potential you have is something to look forward to. The seniors leave big shoes to fill but I know you will rise up to the challenge. We might not have been able to pull out the last game, but you all are winners in my book. Thank you to all the parents for allowing me the opportunity to coach your girls. This season is something I will treasure forever. Thank you to the fans for your support, and t hank you to USD108 staff and administration for helping us represent Washington County Schools. #tigerstrong Love, Coach Nutsch

Our Tiger XC team is awesome. They competed well against tough competition today at our Regional Meet. It was a total team effort from practicing hard and pushing each in practice daily to pushing each other in meets. We are more than a team, we have grown to a family! Today’s results, Kenzie was 5th, Kiersten was 20th. On the boys side, Brody was 13th, Garrison 21st, Drake was 31st, Tucker was 33rd, Blake was 51st, and Ryan was 58th. Makenna and Connor didn’t finish due to injury. Representing our team next week at the state meet in Wamego, Kenzie will run at 10:00 and our boys’ team will run at 11:45. Coach Baker is proud of all of our runners.

Big shout out to ALL officials, especially the 5 WCHS had tonight! Without you, student/athletes wouldn’t have the opportunity to compete week after week. Thank you for donating your time and efforts to our and all kids! @KSHSAA

Mrs. Walter’s second grade class learned about heating and cooling changes. We ended the week by making ice cream in a bag. Their favorite part was getting to eat ice cream at the end of the experiment.

Mrs. Hedke's 3rd graders were hard at work this week. Students gave their animal presentaions to the class, they worked on the bully handbook project with Mrs. Lucas 3rd grade, in art we focused on completing our oil pastels, math was all about grouping factors, in cursive writing we are about done with lower case letters, woot woot. In social studies we talked all about different landmarks in the midwest region, and in science we learned watched cool videos and had discussions about collisions. We ended the week with a pep rally and a giant cookie snack to celebrate our teamwork links!
