Junior High track practice will be done by 4:15 today, Tuesday, because of parent teacher conferences and sore legs.

Catholic Charities Outreach Services Washington distribution will be April 13 at 9:30am.

UPDATE: March 31st Frankfort Invitational has been moved to Onaga. Field Events will begin at 3:00pm. Running events will begin at approximately 4:30pm! Frankfort is resurfacing their track and it will not be completed by Thursday 31st. Therefore, the meet will take place at Onaga! Good Luck Athletes and Coaches!

Our Junior High track season starts with some awesome performances, great effort, and terrific determination. The Coaches are so proud of our athletes for only having 3 outside practices before today’s meet.

Last Thursday the JH Scholars Bowl Teams competed at their end of season tournament. The 7th grade team brought home first place (Sorry we forgot a pic!) and the 8th grade team went 3 and 6. Congratulations to both teams on a great season and make sure to sign up for the Infinity Brain Games and bring your parents!

The best part of Human Growth and Dev is interacting with children! We are having a blast being their “students”, playing games and other interactive activities. Thank you Miss Annie and Miss Beth!

The kids were so excited that Mr. Thompson came to say “Hi!” Before the track meet starts!

It’s track time! Monday we host our first meet and Washington County will have 43 junior high athletes showing off their skills! Field events start at 1:00, 2 mile at about 2:30 with other running to follow.

Hunter with a quality barn door coffee bar he built last year. He did a great job and it turned out really well. The setup looks like something you would see in a magazine.

Laura with a nice solid oak stackable bookcase. She did a fine job on her dado and rabbet joints and I appreciate her attention to detail and her work ethic.

Aidan with a cool cedar toilet paper dispenser. This dispenser has a handy hinge and door to make changing t.p. enjoyable. This is a fun and neat small project the students construct when they need something to do.

Wishing good luck to all the 15 lady tigers who are trying out tonight for the cheer and dance program! A big thanks to our all alumni panel of judges as well!

Were you wondering what was going on at the school tonight? WCHS hosted a forensics meet: 37 adult judges, 20 student helpers, over 100 student participants. and 13 different schools represented. It was a big deal. I want to publically say thank you to all the community members, school employees, and students that helped make tonight a success - what a great group! (From Mrs. Toole)
THANKS AGAIN!
Erin
