Junior high XC is at home on Monday!

The high school cross country runners showed with grit, determination, and hard work, that even in adverse weather conditions we are Tiger Strong! It was rainy and sloppy, but the kids ran very well. Some ran faster than last year on this course, some ran PR's, and all gave great effort. Addy earned her right to be proud she finished the race and placed well and said, "I'm proud of myself, I didn't even walk today!" Thats what XC is about, making personal goals, reaching them, and being proud.
Boys results:
Atticus: 11th, medalist
Lyle: 14th, medalist
Coy: 47th
Girls: 3rd place team, picture to be posted tomorrow.
Nora: 8th, medalist
Madison: 19th, medalist
Addy, 25th
Angel: 26th

We know there are still challenges to overcome, and at times we can be our own toughest opponent. But with each match, we’re gaining valuable experience and taking steps toward becoming stronger, more confident players.
We are proud of the effort, the heart, and the willingness to keep improving. With red and black pride, we’ll keep pushing forward and working hard to reach our potential. 🐯🏐🔴⚫
Thank you everyone for coming out and showing your support! ♥️
Today Mr. Koster's 5th hour woods class and a few other students got to hear from Washington County alumnus, Thadd Tremblay. A great story of how a strong work ethic, pursuing opportunities, relationships, and self growth can lead someone on an amazing journey! Thank you for your time today, Thadd!

It's beginning to look a lot like homecoming around here. Students are utilizing time during Advisory to decorate for next week's Homecoming activities. Hallways are being decked out in Red and Black. #EffortBuildsExcellence #TigerStrong

Business Communication students Suzy and Madison are busy creating a display board for FBLA's Tiger Designs to showcase possible shirt designs to be displayed at games in order for people to choose a design to showcase their Tiger spirit. Come check it out at the homecoming game!

These 6 students in Applied Business Development class(Brianne, Layla, Alyssa, Jayden, Brody and Tucker) were responsible for the creation of 362 student shirts in the first 2 weeks of school. Thank you UBT for sponsoring our student and staff shirts and supporting FBLA and yearbook. At the high school level, the shirts are different colors to distinguish the classes for class wars.

The Culinary class is teaming up with the 8th grade STEM class to test their food scientist abilities. They are learning about super foods, nutrition, measurements, creating formulas, testing new ideas, teamwork, and a whole lot more! Stay tuned to see the process unfold.

High school XC goes to Onaga tomorrow to run their course!

Final pictures of the Business Essentials class constructed businesses. Now the girls will use their specific business as we study marketing, laws, and business plans for the rest of the semester.

The Cross Country team is tired of the summer heat, but knows that working through hard practices makes them tougher. Today they took a break from just " running" and did some relay Indian runs and played ultimate frisbee. Even on game day the mileage adds up quickly!

It was a pretty good night for the volleyball girls. The Varsity girls pushed Centralia in both sets, falling 25-19 and 25-23. Then the girls defeated Blue Valley in two sets 25-18 and 25-19. The atmosphere in the gym was awesome vs Blue Valley as the student section really got behind the girls! It really helps to play in front of a supportive group! Thank you so much!
They JV team also picked up a win vs Blue Valley in 3 sets after dropping the first match of the night to Centralia. It was a much needed win for the JV team.
Thank you all for coming out and supporting the girls!!!

The 8th grade girls in Business Essentials are building the roads for their city. Last week they designed their business fronts.

The high school volleyball team has their first home matches of the season tonight. Both the JV and the Varsity are scheduled to play Centralia at 5:00. Blue Valley JV and Varsity are scheduled to play at 6:00. Then we wrap up the evening with JV and Varsity against Blue Valley at 7:00. JV games will be in the elementary gym, and Varsity games will be in the high school gym. Hope to see you there!!!
