JH and HS Cross Country: first practice is Monday, August 15th at 6:30 am OR 4:00 pm. It’s your choice which one you attend. Be sure you have a completed physical, running clothes and shoes, and a water bottle. We are Tiger Strong!
Head Start open house 8/16
Our local Rotary chapter provided morning goodies for our new teachers at New teacher Orientation on Monday.
New staff are Tess Cecrle, elementary PE; Jenna Hubele, elementary music: Brayden Hubbard, student teaching in 4th grade; and Tawni Myers, 4th grade.
Pete Sherlock, Jill Duis and Dr. Larry Stoppel represented the Rotary Club.
Kindergarten Open House is Thursday, August 11th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Kindergarten parents (or other adult) and student can come and go during this time as it works in their schedule.

Junior High volleyball practice will start Monday, August 15th. Practice will run from 3:30-5:00 in the high school gym. Players will need to bring a water bottle.

We have tons of records for anybody who is a collector or would like them. Please come to the elementary school to pick up. We ask that whoever takes them, takes all of them. Call 785-325-2261 ext 2 for any inquiries.

Local JH cheer programs are alive and well!! The Ruby Reds are hosting Linn, Washington County, and Republic County junior high cheer squads today. Teaching dance, stunts, chants, cheer and a time out.

FBLA officers treasurer, Kiersten Tholstrup; president, Tiffani Allerheiligen; and secretary Trista Crome attended the Summer Leadership Seminar at Emporia State University Monday, July 25th. At SLS, the officers heard a keynote on leadership & spent the afternoon in workshops.
