A few weeks ago, I emailed author Jeff Carson about how my students, who don’t like to read, love his books! I was so excited when he responded and then today we got the whole set of his series in the mail from him! The kids are so excited. We only had a few of them that Dale the Book Man Taskinen donated, so now the kids can enjoy them all. Thank you, Jeff Carson, for helping this librarian find books that students love to read!

5th and 6th band represented the elementary very well at the music concert.

The Book Fair is now open in the elementary lobby. Come get some Christmas shopping done.

Kori Miller, Makenna Elliott, and Kenzie Baker have been visiting our classroom for an FCCLA project. Today they brought in piglets and let us play!

Natalie with some oak and painted cactus wall art. These turned out really cool with the different colors. They look like something you would see on Pinterest. Natalie did a nice job cutting out the cacti and painting them and putting it all together.

Connor with a neat Kansas City Chiefs burnt wall hanging made out in the woodshop. He had some great help from Ruth when it came time to paint precisely and neatly. Teamwork made an awesome looking wall hanging.

Coy with a nice barn wood entryway hat/coat rack. He used old railroad spikes as his hooks and it turned out really cool!
