We are still needing a few judges to help out with the forensics tournament this thursday, March 24 - rounds begin at 4pm and at 5:30pm and you can do 1 or both rounds. You will not be judging any students from our school as we don't compete at our own meet. If you have any experience AT ALL with speeches or acting - you can do this!! Contact Erin Toole

Junior high track practice started with some basic form running, stretching, explaining of several events, jogging, long jumping and trying the basics of triple jumping. Maybe we will have 44 triple jumpers!
Today for Dr. Seuss Week we showed our Colors of the Rainbow.
Influenza A is in our state, community and school currently. KDHE requires students and staff that have been diagnosed with influenza A or B to remain at home for 5 days or 72 hours fever free without medication, whichever is longer. We have also seen strep throat, ear infections, coughing, allergies, and the common cold. Please let me know if I can help with any questions or concerns, or contact your primary care provider.
On Friday, a fifth grade group of girls performed their service project. They planned and implemented a Walk-a-thon/Run-a-thon for KSDS. This group raised $186 and many dog toys for KSDS. It was a very successful first time event.
Anatomy and Physiology students tested their vision for blind spots and depth perception in class today.
Junior High track practice starts Tuesday, March 8th. The optional practice is for the high school tomorrow. Be sure you have a current physical on file at the school and work out type clothes and shoes on Tuesday.

Washington County girls beat Rock Hills tonight, 33-26!
Washington County will play in the championship game at 7:00 PM tomorrow night in Clyde. Come out and cheer on the Lady Tigers!

We have a State Champion. Cody Metz bowled a 713 serious which put him 1st place in 1A-5A! Congratulation Cody!! Way to represent WCHS Bowling!
The March Clubs for 4th, 5th, and 6th include comic book making, scholars bowl, and hand ball. It looks like everyone is enjoying them.
