Sending out a huge thank you to this amazing group of young adults for being the best travel companions ever! I am so proud of your attitude and behavior during the week. I received many compliments from people about how polite you all were everywhere we went. Great job Seniors!!

Another cold and windy track meet for our junior high track athletes. These kids didn’t disappoint, back down, or look for excuses. It is difficult to have track meets 2 days apart, bodies don’t have time for a full recovery. With that said… we had 49 Personal Bests or Season Bests for our team today. Way to go. Junior High Rocks!

WCHS JV golf went great today! Well done athletes and coach, Jake Miller!

Thanks to Rhonda Manley for finding these great books for the elementary library.

Thanks to Chris Pannbacker for donating these two books to the high school library.

Don’t forget the USD 108 PTO/Janet’s Jungle Plant Sale. One truck has been here, the next one is on it’s way! The plants are gorgeous! Pick up your items at the bus barn, 6-8 p.m. today or 12-6 tomorrow! There are also many cash and carry items, in case you didn’t get an order placed! Bring on Spring….(P.S. It’s heated in here!)

Our junior high kids showed grit today at our meet at Mankato. We had 90 degrees and 50 mph wind gusts out of the south most of the meet and finished with 60 degrees with 50 mph wind gusts from the north. Everybody competed in the events we had them entered in, some for the first time and some were working to better their times and distances. We came home with 28 medals total!!

Junior high athletes are headed home from Mankato. We are staying weather aware.
