Toole is Washington County Hospital Artist of the Month WCHS Junior, 
Kady Toole is the Washington County Hospital Artist of the Month for October. WCHS is working with the hospital to display a chosen student’s work in the south hallway of the hospital each month. Toole is displaying 9 pieces that she has created in high school, ranging from pencil pieces to multi-media pieces on cardboard. Toole’s works will be on display until October 31. Thank you to the Washington County Hospital and Taylor Miller for sponsoring these artists!


Today, Mrs. Mcclure's class learned about map making by mapping the playground area.

At Monday night's USD 108 BOE meeting, food service director Rose Zach was recognized for going Above and Beyond the call of duty.  Rose orchestrated the preparing and serving of 21,281 meals to our kids in the months of June and July! We love you Rose and thank you!!

Accounting students are playing Monopoly this week to practice journaling and posting. Next week, we learn financial statements and will use our Monopoly entries to create an income statement and balance sheet to declare the winner from both games.

Our 8th grade boys have closed out their junior high 2 mile XC racing career. Today was a big meet, 43 8th grade boys,  at Riley County. The course is very hilly and takes a lot of determination and grit to get through it. Our boys had that Tiger Strong attitude.

Our junior high boys closed out their xc season with a big and hard meet. There were 53 boys in the 7th grade race today at Riley County.

Our 1a Tigers held their own against several 3a and 4a schools today. Riley County is a big meet and it’s a tough course, lots of hills! Our high school boys had 125 runners today. We were missing Drake and Garrison due to Covid protocol.

Our XC team  had to leave early this morning and when  we got to the school, we noticed the yard gnome XC supporters were out! Thank you! The kids were excited! 

7-12 students were able to participate in Bullying Prevention mini sessions today where numerous speakers presented on embracing differences within self, others, culture, race, military, social media, leadership and experiences of outside exposure. Thank you to all of our presenters for providing our students with this experience!
