The Kindergarten class enjoyed a Royal Tea Party hosted by the lovely Sharon Aufdengarten and Martha Mosteller. Thank you ladies for a wonderful time and teaching our students about manners and history!

USD 108 Washington County Schools is looking for a responsible individual who can help in the kitchen on a substitute basis. The hours are 6:00 am-1:30 pm. You must be able to stand for long hours and be a self-starter. You also get to see all of the school children and understand why working in our school district is such a rewarding experience! USD 108 is seeking interested applicants for a classroom aide position for our district preschool. Tiger Boys lost to Clifton-Clyde tonight. Our boys played well for 3 qtrs. Holding the lead at half. Put a solid 3rd qtr on the books but trailed by 1, 45-46. In the 4th qtr our offense went dry. Final score 64-47. We'll face off vs Republic County at home on Thursday.

WCHS Bowling team was in Manhattan today at Little Apple Lanes. Todays meet was a tri meet with Manhattan and Hayden, both top notch schools in Bowlin this year. Competition was tough but WCHS Bowlers finished 3rd overall but not far behind. Todays meet was our sixth meet of the season with four more to go, one being this sat in Hutchinson at the Buehler Classic. Two of our previous meets that I did not get posted were both at home and had good results with several medals won by our WCHS Bowlers and a top team place and a second. We are looking forward to finishing our regular season strong and getting ready to give everyone in our regional our best to try to send our teams to state. LET'S ROLL TIGERS!!!

The booster Club tried something new tonight. They put on a Mother and Son Movie Night that went on at the same time as the Daddy Daughter Dance. We had 37 boys and 29 moms enjoy "The Sandlot". The WCHS forensics team took home 3rd place as a team at the Nemaha Central meet today AND WE HAVE TWO STATE QUALIFIERS!! Congratulations Amber who took 2nd in informative speech and Nora who took 2nd in prose. Also medaling were Witt 5th in poetry, Elin 3rd in informative speech and 5th in extemporaneous speech, Cayden 6th in humorous solo, Angel/Nora 4th in Duet, and Aviana/Josi 6th in duet. Well done everyone!





Last night the band did a "thing". We had felt a little left out on the other side of the court so we moved over to see how the other side felt! And boy was it a HOTT!🎺🥁🎷🪇🪈🎶🎵
Thanks to those who made the switch possible we were able to play and cheer along with the crowd.

🎺And we even let a few very anxious and excited 6th grade boys join in tonight. I believe we will be setting a middle school night up very soon! This kids crushed it!!

Tiger Boys lost to Frankfort 71-41. We went into halftime down 7. The game got away from us in the 3rd qtr. We are improving in small increments. We'll face Clifton-Clyde on Tuesday. It's another tough match-up! TVL is an amazing collection of talent.
