Who knew popping popcorn could turn into a chemistry lesson? In class, our students measured the mass of kernels before and after popping. Then, with some clever calculations, they discovered the percent composition of water in the kernels. This is a great example of hands-on learning that's both educational and fun.
Garrison built a quality cutting board-style deer wall hanging out of scraps. This was a gift for a family member, and I like the bloodwood piece in the middle. This project is a great way to use up scraps. Good job, Garrison!
