Keesecker’s Agribusiness HR Director, Skylar Warnke, and Business Director, Marla Strunk, visited with our fifth graders about the employment opportunities at their company. They shared pictures of and explained the farming/crop operation, the feed mill, pigs, bikes, and goats from National Goat Ranch. KAB is a Classroom to Careers Sponsor for 5th grade. We are all super excited for more information about KAB!

Our 5th bowling meet done here in Junction City with Manhattan, Hayden, Solomon and Washington County. Kids are bowling good but they are up against some really good Bowlers lately seeing what their future could be. Still proud of our bowlers and what they have accomplished.

Here is a picture after our cold day day competing at FBLA speaking events. Results of our district conference are in the earlier post.

I am so proud of our FCCLA STAR Event competitors. They worked very hard and whether they make it to state or not they learned valuable skills and shared information relating to some very important teen and societal issues with their peers and the community. I am honored to be their advisor. We get the results next week.

Third and Fourth grade PE classes had a great time learning from our Classroom to Careers sponsor, Washington County Hospital. The nursing department taught us about spine boards and vein highlighter. We all had a great time!

7th & 8th grade parents: HS has a make-up game Monday, Feb. 10th. We have concession stands! I will be asking students who are not playing Jr. High basketball to help work. If you are available as a parent to help please email me at fcraig@usd108.org!
