The WCHS FFA Nursery Landscape Team placed first in the NC District competition last week in Clay Center. The team took the top three spots in the senior division of the competition, with Tanner Baker placing 1st, William Svanda - 2nd, and Cayden Meadows - 3rd. In the Greenhand Division, the team placed 3rd overall, with Lincoln Baker placing 4th, Cayden Crump placing 7th, and Hayden Lohse placing 9th individually. Congratulations!


State solos and small ensembles will be held on April 26 . Good luck, Tigers!

Students in Human Anatomy & Physiology dissected a pig heart today to test their knowledge of the anatomy of the heart.


Our school attended Body Venture this morning to learn about Eating Smart, Playing Hard, and taking care of our bodies hosted by Clifton Clyde schools. This is Mrs. Baker's class and a few 5th graders at a few stations.







Booster Club's spring MEMBER meeting will be May 21, 2025 at 5:30 in the elementary library. Members include anyone that paid dues and got an activity calendar at Meet the Tigers this fall. We need members to come to help with future ideas, planning, and committees. We are a club FOR the KIDS!

Twelve WCHS Art Students attended the Highland Art Day on Thursday, April 17. Students participated in art making workshops and competitions while pieces were judged. WCHS' s Saki Yasue received a Best of Show for her colored pencil, "Eye" at this highly competitive juried show. Also receiving Art Excellence awards for their pieces were Anna L'Ecuyer, Atticus Jensen, and Saki. Receiving Honorable Mention awards were Angel Cole, Jayden Laflen and Saki for a third piece.
