The booster Club tried something new tonight. They put on a Mother and Son Movie Night that went on at the same time as the Daddy Daughter Dance. We had 37 boys and 29 moms enjoy "The Sandlot". Thank you to all who donated their time, snacks, and drinks to make this event happen. Jacqueline Kay Photography will post official pictures soon.

The WCHS forensics team took home 3rd place as a team at the Nemaha Central meet today AND WE HAVE TWO STATE QUALIFIERS!! Congratulations Amber who took 2nd in informative speech and Nora who took 2nd in prose. Also medaling were Witt 5th in poetry, Elin 3rd in informative speech and 5th in extemporaneous speech, Cayden 6th in humorous solo, Angel/Nora 4th in Duet, and Aviana/Josi 6th in duet. Well done everyone!




Last night the band did a "thing". We had felt a little left out on the other side of the court so we moved over to see how the other side felt! And boy was it a HOTT!🎺🥁🎷🪇🪈🎶🎵
Thanks to those who made the switch possible we were able to play and cheer along with the crowd.
🔨 Thanks to Kileab and Octavian and Mr. Koster the trap set platform was build and steadied.
🔒Cayden was secured and steady on the set.
🎸The band was able to rock out!
🎺And we even let a few very anxious and excited 6th grade boys join in tonight. I believe we will be setting a middle school night up very soon! This kids crushed it!!

24-25 Winter K&Q of CRT's night is in the books! Congratulations to King Anthony Garcia and Queen Mackensi Meier!

Tiger Boys lost to Frankfort 71-41. We went into halftime down 7. The game got away from us in the 3rd qtr. We are improving in small increments. We'll face Clifton-Clyde on Tuesday. It's another tough match-up! TVL is an amazing collection of talent.
The WCHS FFA High School Scholars Bowl Team competed in the TVL League Tournament yesterday in Centralia. Students had 10 rounds of competition and WCHS was fortunate enough to end with 7 wins, 3 losses and placed 4th in the overall League Tournament. All of our team members contributed to our score in the various rounds. The team is excited for the Regional Competition, which will begin next week in Frankfort. Team members include Aviana Hertz, Joselyn Sanchez, Makenna Elliott, Kenny Annunziato, Amber Kolle, Tanner Baker, and Jonathan Wright. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Tonight at K&Q of Courts, FBLA will be set up in the west lobby selling Tiger apparel and the community cookbooks. Cookbooks are $15 and all proceeds go to the playground project. Some apparel will be discounted. Stop by and see us!

Katlin from KSU Research and Extension taught Mrs. Baker's class another Ag lesson. Today's topic was beef cattle. The kids found the preserved stomach parts to be interesting!

The pictured items will be auctions this Friday, January 31st at the WCHS vs Frankfort BB games (K&Q CRTs). The auction will take place at half time of the varsity boys game. Proceeds go to After Prom!
