A very fun night was had at the Ruby Reds annual soup supper. This year we added a twist and did a murder mystery game. There were lots of fun characters, crazy motives, speculations, and accusations but no doubt a good time was had by all. #rubyreds108

This past weekend USD 108 students attended KSU HONOR BAND in Manhattan at the University Campus. Students were selected from director nominations. Friday the students left school at noon, traveled to Manhattan campus, auditioned along over 600 other students to be placed in 6 bands. The students then met their clinician for the weekend. Each band had a special clinician from other top universities from around the United States. Besides working until after 9 pm both nights, the students were also able to attend Master Classes taught by directors and KSU grad students, swim in the hotel pool, and were blessed to attend 2 concerts featuring the Boston Brass and the KSU Concert Band conducted by Dr. Frank Tracz. After rehearsing their brand new music all day Saturday, Sunday morning the 600+ students performed in front of a very large packed crowd at McCain Auditorium. Students attending were: Seniors-Aviana Hertz, Joselyn Sanchez, and Mackenzie Kuhanek. Juniors- Tucker Huband and Brianne Fincham. Sophomores- Kelly Annunziato and Cayden Meadows. Freshman- Adelyn Oakes, Madison Hayman, and Zoe Sawin. Videos of the two bands that students were placed into can be found on Mrs Abigail Sawin's personal page. The music was absolutely incredible and beautifully played.

Get your forensics shirt before Tuesday! These are not required for forensics members but they are fun! Shirts can be worn anytime but are definitely worn at our home meet and for our showcase instead of having to dress up.
