Tiger Design student spotlight: Elin
Valerie Parker from C Street Styles contacted us about creating apparel with her logo. Elin edited the design to fit our dpi requirements and was able to make shirts and hoodies with her logo. Thanks C Street Styles for the business!

I don't know who is happier when the FFA has "drive your tractor to school day". The high school drivers had smiles as big as Mrs. Baker's class as they went and took a look at the mode of transportation today. Many 4th graders even picked out their favorite and said "I cannot wait until I get in high school!"

Washington County Junior High Scholars Bowl is underway! So far we have had meets at Clifton and Hanover the past two weeks, with the League Scholars Bowl Tournament this evening in Linn. Most notably, our teams finished 3rd and 1st in the Junior Varsity Division at Clifton and Hanover respectively. We are excited to compete this evening in Linn, great work Jr. High Tigers!!!

That closes out the regular season. We face Rural Vista on Tuesday for District play.
The 7-12th grade band had the privilege of hosting KSU Bands very own Dr. Alex Wimmer this morning during morning rehearsal. Dr. Wimmer is the Associate Director of Bands at KSU. He made the early morning commute up to work with the kids on their contest pieces and edge out some fundamental skills. It is always so exciting to watch changes and improvements happen in a matter of seconds and that is exactly what happened. Within the first few minutes the improvements made were exponential. Please be sure to ask your band student what they thought, what they learned, and how much they improved!!
We even have a plan for Dr. Wimmer to come back in the fall with a few students to work on the new marching show! Bring on the Tiger Band!

2024-25 Winter Parents' Night continued! Thank you seniors and parents!

Thursday morning’s temperatures/windchills will still be dangerously low. However, USD 108 will be back to school with a 2 hour late start. I know that late starts are hard to deal with, but a 2 hour late start allows our bus drivers and student drivers to navigate the roads to school in daylight instead of darkness. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have worked through this nasty weather. Spring will be here soon! There is no AM preschool and no breakfast served tomorrow.
