The Marching Squad aka Tiger Band and Ruby Reds are in route to the state fair. More photos to come but this group fills the bus with one single open seat!! What a great group! They will be marching today starting at 11 a.m., around the fair grounds. We will stop and play at the People's bank and trust Arena, and finish the parade route. Afterwards, we'll enjoy some fair food and entertainment before traveling home.

Good evening, the WC Band will be traveling to the State Fair Wednesday. A general schedule of events is listed below. We would love for our fans to come and watch us march and compete. We are leaving the school parking lot at 7:30am and traveling to Hutchinson. We should arrive about 10:15 am. We will unload and line up and warm up. Our competition time is between 11am and 11:30am. We will begin marching in that timeframe (as soon as we are lined up). Then marching from Gate 9 on 20th Ave through the Fairgrounds to People's Bank and Trust Arena, where we will play for three judges, after which we will march the rest of the parade route back to the bus. Load all gear then go back into the fair. We can not pick up our scores until after one. You will be given time to eat and explore the grounds. We will depart for home approximately 3pm.

band practice
A very competitive game, our JV Football team came storming back down 20-0 to take a 24-20 lead in the fourth. Unfortunately a few miscues allowed Blue Valley to take the lead late in the fourth quarter and win 28-24. Our boys fought and clawed all night long. I am very proud of their determination and though we didn’t get the win we got better in all facets of the game. Great job boys!
