Tiger band camp kicked off tonight with our rock solid rock 'n' roll theme. We had a fantastic showing for the first night. Our band is looking to be about 40 people strong. They are so excited to show everyone what they're learning!! I didn't take a lot of pictures tonight because we were busy, but we did get in a few quick marching lines. Our theme winners tonight were Jonah for junior high and Charlie for high school. Jonah: Machine Gun Kelly from his new album Los Americanos, Charlie: Nikki Sixx/Frank Ferana Jr. Bass player in Motley Crue.
Things accomplished:
🥁Parade sequences
🎺Started a few new songs.
🥁Learned the cadence or two.
🎺And of course worked on our marching fundamentals.
Thanks to the parents who got kids there on time and the kids who got there and showed up and worked hard. This is going to be our best year yet.!!

Charley built this nice modern-style bookshelf out of oak. She built this woods project for her brother to use. Good job, Charley!

Anale built a quality TV stand out of oak. This project has sliding barn-style doors and hardware kit. Good job, Anale!

Makenna built a cool farmhouse-style nightstand out of knotty pine. She did a nice job, and I like the way the gray paint and stain look together. Good job, Makenna!

Leslye built a quality dresser out of oak for her folks. She did a great job, and this was a great project to end her senior year with. Good job, Leslye!

Gavyn built a nice DVD rack/shelf out of oak. This was one of many projects that he built this past school year. Good job, Gavyn!

Anna made a beautiful kitchen island out of beech wood. She did a nice job, and I like the slotted boards on the bottom shelf. Good job, Anna!

New teacher orientation is off to a great start!
