
WCHS Golf heads to Waterville Golf Course Friday May 2nd. Good luck athletes and Coach Miller!


The Washington County High School track team competed today at our home meet against 10 other teams. The Tigers once again showed up to play!!! The girls team won the meet and the boys tied for 4th. The hard work and dedication these athletes are putting in is starting to really show! We go to Beloit on Friday and I think we are up for the challenge of a big meet.

Mr. Edmonds Junior American History class visited Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene KS today. A fun of exploring the Museum, Boyhood Home and Educational Experience in primary and secondary source with hands on Band of Brothers activity.











Brayttan with a quality-made modern-style nightstand made out of ash. This is special because it is made from the ash trees he helped mill last year. Good job, Brayttan!


Epic Team Camp will be July 11 @ CC. We will have a high school football camp from July 7 to July 10 and finish the week off with the Epic Team Camp. I will be posting more dates soon.


Just a reminder that FCCLA Freezer Meal orders for week 1 are due Monday, May 5. The flyer is attached.


On a hot and windy day at Valley Heights our girls track team, performed very well today. They also came away with 11PR's and like the boys are starting to figure out the technique that comes with a lot of field events. Keep working hard, 2 meets left in our last week of track

The junior high boys track team was busy fighting the wind today at Valley Heights. The boys are really starting to figure out some of their events. They finished with 11 PR's today, which is great on such a windy day. Keep working hard. 1 week of track left!











The junior high track meet at Valley Heights is under a 20 minute lightening delay. We have moved all students into the gym for safety precautions.

Mrs. McCall is still needing volunteers to help with the Orienteering Event at Onaga on Wednesday, May 7th. Please email her if you are interested in helping!


Washington County Junior High/Highschool music students will have a concert Wednesday, April 30th in the High School Gym starting at 7 pm. Please join us to see the results of their hard work this semester!

The WCHS Forensics team put on an incredible showcase on April 25, performing many of their pieces from this season and serving as wait staff for our audience — featuring delicious desserts made by their parents!
Nearly 80 people came out to enjoy an evening full of talent, laughter, and treats. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported our team!








Washington County Students had a Fantastic showing today at State Music Festival. Aviana Hertz came away with a 1 rating with her flute solo, Kelly Annunziato earned a 1 for her percussion solo, and our mixed quartet earned a solid 2! I can't express how proud I am of everyone!! Now to get ready for our concert Wednesday night!!



Our Washington County State Music Competitors are competing today in Hillsboro at Tabor College. KSHSSA State Music 2a Schools.


The JV golf team went Waterville yesterday and battled in the cold wind. We had 4 golfers competing, and all did very good. Owen Svanda placed T5 with a 57 and took home a medal. Also competing was,
